FERHRI has got some expertise in collaborating with the following international organizations:
- ISTC (International Science and Technology Center) - Program for the study of the Sea of Japan;
- United Nations Development Program/Global Environment Fund (UNDP/GEF) - Tumen River Project, Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis Section; FERHRI is currently responsible for the whole marine section of the project and for the river section on the part of Russia;

Licensed Russian laboratories
In order to analyze background pollution level and environmental pollution parameters FERHRI makes use of a licensed laboratory of the Center for the Environmental Pollution Monitoring, Primorskiy Administration of Hydrometeorological Service (registered No. ROSS RU.0001.511080). Primorskiy Administration of Hydrometeorological Service and FERHRI use this laboratory jointly according to the Agreement No. 151. This laboratory is attested for accreditation of atmospheric air, surface in-land waters, sea waters and soil analyses. Besides that FERHRI uses licensed laboratories of:

- State Inspection for Analytical Control, Primorskiy Regional Committee for Natural Resources (Vladivostok, Russia);
